Joe Okon is the owner of DMQ Property Management. Additionally, he is a practicing Realtor® and Associate Broker. Joe, who has an MBA in both Marketing and Information Systems, made his first real estate investment, a four-story brownstone in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1980. He has been involved in real estate ever since.

During his time as a Marriott International marketing executive in the 1980s and 90s, Joe maintained a personal real estate portfolio in the greater Washington, D.C. area. In 2001 he left Marriott to focus his full attention on real estate. He launched an investment/renovation company and subsequently acquired his real estate and broker licenses. Joe also owned and operated a licensed Maryland Home Improvement Contracting business. He has been representing buyers and sellers, tenants, landlords and HOA’s since 2003. As a Realtor®, contractor, and property manager, Joe built up strong connections with local businesses and fellow contractors that can cater to your every need. He knows who to hire and more importantly, who not to.
Joe lives in Montgomery County, MD with his three daughters.
